THE PURPOSE OF PRAISE

With praise, men demonstrate to God that they recognize Him as being the Owner and Master of humanity and the entire world. With our praise, we worship, honor, and glorify God for Who He is.

One of the best remedies to overcome fear, anxieties, doubts, and discouragements is with praise. The Creator of the universe and all that is in it wants to be praised. Praise is a form of worship and God wants everything to worship Him. The Bible reminds us that in everything we are to praise the Lord.

The Psalmist penned in Psalm 150:6, “Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord,” then again in Psalm 50:23, “Whoso offereth praise glorifieth Me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.”

Praise is an important part of our communion with God; praising God invites God to come into our hearts. Praising God cheers the heart, strengthens our faith, and brings peace to the land and broken hearts that are everywhere today.

The cure for whatever is not of God is praise; when you praise you will not have time to allow the negatives to disrupt your joy.
